Traces of Mahavatar Babaji’s presence are spread all across the mystical Himalayas — through his disciples, kriya yogis, and countless subtle connections woven into the very fabric of these sacred mountains.

The Himalayas have been known since ancient times as Dev Bhumi – the lands of the gods. Here, the breathtaking beauty of nature is inseparably intertwined with sacredness, as if the love of the Divine Mother manifests itself in this untamed splendour.

Under the guidance of Swamini Prabhaavati and Rishika Hiranmayi, we will journey through holy places and immerse ourselves in Atma Kriya Yoga.

HOW IT WAS

Going to the Himalayas had always felt like a distant dream for us.

Every year, we would hear stories from those who returned — how deeply the journey touched them, how peaceful the Babaji Cave felt, how their hearts opened in new ways. We used to wonder when our turn would come — when we too would walk in those sacred mountains and feel that same stillness for ourselves.

When the time finally arrived, it was everything we imagined and more.
The first days took our breath away — snowcapped peaks, quiet valleys, and skies that seemed to open into infinity. It was as if a painting we had long gazed at had suddenly come alive.

Our first visit was to Mouni Ma, a saintly devotee of Neem Karoli Baba and an embodiment of Durga Ma’s energy. Her temple had an atmosphere unlike any other — serene, strong, and filled with devotion. Sitting in her prayer room, where she once meditated, many of us found tears welling up. It felt as though her love for Giridhari was still vibrating through the walls.

From that day onward, the journey unfolded naturally, guided so beautifully under the presence of our beloved Guruji. Every place we visited — Mukteshwar, Adibadri, Joshimath, and finally Babaji’s Cave — carried a unique vibration. Standing inside that sacred cave, we could feel a profound silence, an unmistakable presence. To imagine how many saints had meditated there before us was both humbling and uplifting.

One of the most memorable days was our trek to Atri Muni Ashram, where Mata Anusuya once lived. Her story of faith and devotion — her strength, her purity — came alive in that place. The energy was grounding, powerful, and deeply feminine.

That day was also filled with warmth and laughter. Families climbed together, helped each other along the way, and shared simple, joyful moments that felt timeless. There was a sense of closeness and unity that went beyond words.

Each day of this pilgrimage was rich — not only with breathtaking sights, but with inner discoveries. We saw how everyone in the group was touched and transformed in their own way. It wasn’t just a journey through the mountains; it was a journey inward — of reflection, connection, and awakening. Every moment felt divinely orchestrated — as if Babaji himself was walking with us.

Ten days that changed us from within —ten days that will live in our hearts forever.

SWAMINI PRABHAAVATI

Swamini Vishwaprabhaavati Mata met Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda in August 2012 at Shree Peetha Nilaya, His ashram in Germany. From that very moment she felt compelled to collaborate with the mission and began to do seva (selfless service) in different areas. She quickly felt from her heart that Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s unconditional Love, His message and mission, was what he had been seeking for a long time. In October 2015 she was initiated as Swamini by Paramahamsa Vishwananda, who puts her in charge of expanding His mission in Spain. Subsequently, it also does so with several of the Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
