Sacred Himalayan Sādhanā: A Journey of Presence and Silence

This journey is a deep immersion into spiritual practice and a connection with the source of Kriya Yoga, a delicate balance between travelling to holy places and the inner silence of focus on one's sadhana.
We will move through the majestic Himalayas, but our main focus will be directed inwards. Our goal is to cultivate silence of the mind and become rooted in Bhakti. Practising Kriya Yoga, absorbing the experience and receiving the blessings of shrines, we will develop an inner connection with Bhagavan.

✨ Trip Highlights ✨

Our programme includes many outstanding and legendary places, such as Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, Kasar Devi Temple, Dunagiri Retreat Centre, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, Devprayag, Adi Badri Temple, Yog Dhyan Badri Temple, Agastya Muni Ashram, and Rishikesh.

Let's take a closer look at the heart of our journey:

Badrinath — The Abode of Eternity

After a trek to Vishnupadam (the footprint of Lord Vishnu) and a walk through the valley towards Mount Neelkantha, we will visit the main Badri Vishal Temple and take a holy dip in the hot springs.

Mahavatar Babaji's Cave

A Japa-trek via Pandukholi will lead us to Babaji’s Cave, where we will practice Atma Kriya Yoga – in the very place where Babaji initiated Lahiri Mahasaya into Kriya Yoga.

The Power of Silence

We will visit the Mauni Maa Ashram (dedicated to the saint who maintained silence for 62 years), the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram, and the Kasar Devi Temple—one of only three sacred sites on Earth situated on the Van Allen radiation belt. We will hold a group Atma Kriya Yoga practice and Babaji meditation there.

Joshimath, Narayana's winter abode

The name translates as 'Abode of Light'. This is one of the four monasteries that the great Adi Shankaracharya established in India in the 8th century.

In Joshimath stands an ancient Narasimha Temple, which is one of the 108 sacred places of the Vaishnavas (Divya Desham). The murti of Narasimha was installed by Adi Shankaracharya himself.

Mana Village and Origins

We shall visit to Mana — the last village on the border with Tibet. We shall visit Veda Vyasa Cave (where the Vedas were written) and the source of the Saraswati River. We shall enjoy a 6 km trek to the Vasundhara Falls renowned for its mythical, purifying, and therapeutic water.

Agatsya Muni Temple

Agastya Muni is one of the seven immortal sages (Saptarishis). He was initiated by Lord Shiva himself and later passed the secrets of Kriya Kundalini Pranayama to Mahavatar Babaji. This is the place where he performed his deep penance.
